Laura Kelso is a startup advisor, investor & CMO who has announced more than a 100 funding rounds and product launches, helped close hundreds of millions of dollars in venture funding, and successfully re-positioned companies of all sizes as category leaders through comprehensive brand, content, & growth marketing strategies.

Laura has served as interim CMO, VP of Marketing, & VP of Communications for a variety of clients across B2B technology. As a pioneering marketer in the containerization & microservices market, she led corporate & content marketing at Mesosphere to contribute to $100M+ in revenue, drafting behind the rise of Kubernetes.

She created growth marketing programs for a portfolio of early stage startups in her role at JLL Spark, the Fortune 200 company's corporate venture fund. Her success earned her the opportunity to lead global technology marketing as a top executive at JLL, where she developed the company's technology brand.

Laura is drawn to challenges, whether it's translating complex tech for a broader audience, digging deep to understand customer problems, or breaking into new and emerging categories. She is based in San Francisco and Sonoma, California where she enjoys spending time with her husband & in her home pottery studio.
